|Applications are invited for Full-time Research Assistant I/II in the Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) within the Faculty of Education.|
The Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) at The University of Hong Kong has launched a new three-year university-school support project on Self-Directed Learning in Science (SDLS) in September 2014. Applicants should possess a Bachelorís degree in Psychology, Education or other relevant fields. They should also have proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; excellent communication skills; good IT skills; and experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
Familiarity with the local education environment and curriculum design is highly desirable. Preference will be given to those with sound knowledge and skills in using moodle platform and have teaching experience; research skills, particularly interview and qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills; and experience in project coordination and organizing events e.g. seminars and conferences.
The appointee will assist the SDLS project team to conduct lesson observations, surveys and interviews; organization of project seminars; data management; and assist in paper-based and online data collection and analysis as well as day to day project administration.
